Cecily Legler Strong, an American stand-up comedian and actor is well known for her performance as a character on "Saturday Night Life.' After taking an improv training class when she was nine years old when she was nine, she started her acting career. Her initial goal was to become an actress but soon realized she had a talent for comedy. Therefore, her focus changed from acting to comedy improvisation. Her professional career started on a cruise liner, singing with the other performers of Second City Conservatory & iO Chicago. Strong was a regular at events like Chicago Sketch Fest and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She performed with Virgin Daiquiri, an all-female troupe - as well New York Sketchfest. The show's biggest star was 2012 when she debuted on "Saturday Night Live" in its 39th season as a cast member who was featured as a co-host of for the Weekend Update segment first with Seth Meyers and later with Colin Jost. Her most memorable performance was her performance as the role of "the girl who you would have preferred not to start the conversation with at your event'.
