Luciana Paoluzzi grew up in Rome and raised in Rome by her parents. Her father was Manlio Paoluzzi, who was an Italian military officer. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of the mistresses of Benito Mussolini. It's not clear if there are any siblings. Luciana attended the local high school and, after graduation in 1955, was a student at the Naval Engineering department of the Scientific Academy of Milan. The only woman in the class. Following two years of modeling, she was offered a role in Three Coins in the Fountain. It was her first role. Brett Halsey - an actor was her first husband. They made Return to the Peyton Palace in the year 1960, after having wed. Luciana was granted custody following divorce. They had a baby boy named Charles who was born in June 1961. Between 1962 and 1970 Luciana had a relationship with Tony Athony who was who was an actor and producer. He was influenced by her work in the film Green Slime and based on his script and production of the mixed Spaghetti Western for which he gained some recognition.
