ndrea Le is an aspiring LPGA Tour superstar, highlighted by her victory at the 2022 Portland Classic. Lee has been a champion on all levels. She won nine matches in her college years in the ranks of Standford University. She also spent 17 consecutive weeks on top in the women's amateur World ranking. The Women's Amateur team with the most points at end the season in 2019 Lee took home the Mark H. McCormack Memorial Medal. Lee made the switch to professional the same year. Andrea Lee has made a name for herself in the world of professional golf since she was an amateur player. James began teaching his daughter how to play golf from the age of five. As a young girl, she started competing in tournaments. She took home 50 championships when she was a junior player in just four years. She was able to make the cut in this year's US Women's Open, held at Pinehurst No. at the age of 15 and her father along with her as a caddie. Lee was invited by sponsors to attend the 15th ANA Inspiration on the LPGA Tour but was unable to make the cut by one shot. Lee played for the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup team, and at the Women's World Amateur Team Championship. After joining Stanford University in 2016 she became the top-rated player in its history during that period. In the following three years she took home nine individual championships. Lee left Stanford University to turn pro in the year 2019. Her record for amateur golf included 17 weeks on the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee received the 2019 Mark H. McCormack Medal following her season's conclusion as the most highly-ranked amateur. Lee had four holes consecutively and an Albatross in her amateur. Her first year she finished with two top-10 finishings. She was a T7 finisher in 2020's AIG Women's Open held at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee's debut LPGA Tour victory came in 2022 Portland Classic. She dedicated it to her great-grandfather Min who passed away in 2012. He was always calling me a winner and was convinced that I would win. He was an amazing man, and I'm sure she is watching. Previous competitions she participated in included soccer, taekwondo, as well as figure skating. Lee's other interests besides golf revolve around movies, shopping and even singing.
