Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - a Canadian and American artist and singer. She has released more than 20 albums. DiFranco categorizes her music under the terms folk-rock and alternative, but it also includes influences like punk, hip-hop and jazz. Widely considered a feminist icon Grammy recipient Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement and is among the first artists to create her own label 1990.
