Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and a writer. She is most well known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in for her first stage appearance. Then she appeared in several Broadway shows before becoming an international star with Li'l Abner in 1957. That same year, she recorded her first album, It's Time to Tina. Louise was first seen as a performer in Hollywood with God's Little Acre which was a dramatic which was made in 1958. She played Griselda who was a character from the movie. While an undergraduate at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. In 1964, she signed with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her career effectively in between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also was an effective television director in numerous series, including Supernatural and The 100. Her family relocated to Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for growing up and in adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
